Victoria Real Estate Friday Pfunny: Why People Move!
When it Comes to Buying or Selling Victoria BC Real Estate:
Some Move Towards a “Solution”!
Some Move Away From a “Problem”!
When I personally moved to Greater Victoria late 1990, I moved towards a career opportunity. At the time did not really know much about Victoria, or the local real estate market. I was surprised how such a relatively small geographic area like the Greater Victoria area, offers so many very distinct lifestyle options. (learn more about Peter).
We know that many people move to Victoria BC, to get away from "Winter" and towards a snow and frost free climate. Many learn that not having a real winter, does mean that we have a "gray" season. Off-course our Gray season also assures that Greater Victoria has some of the most spectacular gardens, real estate, scenery and lush landscapes anywhere in Canada.
Even within Greater Victoria, there are a number of Micro climates that may influence where you might want to live on the Southern part of Vancouver Island BC.
For example, many people want to live near the ocean for obvious reasons, its Pfanntastic. However, living near the ocean does mean that your average outside temperature thru-out the year will be a bit lower, compared to even as little as say 4 to 5 blocks away from the waterfront. This slightly cooler temperature is great during the summer, but a little less appealing during Victoria's gray season.
Regardless, if you are moving towards a solution or away from a problem: Greater Victoria is a Pfanntastic place to call home.
