Crocus in the Snow, Linda's Lovely Lyrics.

Crocus in Victoria Linda Pfann Lovely Lyrics

Linda's Lovely Lyrics
Linda's shares, Poems, Lyrics, Rhymes or Thoughts weekly,  we hope you enjoy them.

The other day I was out in the yard and was so surprised and happy to see my flowers popping out of the soil.

I know we don't have snow here but this little poem from Peggy Morris tells us what  to expect;

Pretty little crocus in the snow.

Through winter's chill, how do you grow?

Adorned in yellow, you are sublime
And bring to earth beauty divine.

My favorite time of the year is Spring.Crocus in Victoria It's as though everything from the year before
is washed away and a new beginning starts.

I  like to think of Spring as Mother Earth doing the laundry, hanging it out to dry and starting with fresh sheets.

The flowers are so pretty and they mean the beginning of Spring for me. The poetry is excellent. You did a great job.

Linda it's always so exciting to see the first blooms of the season. That's something we don't experience in Phx but I sure remember it from my MN Days.   Love your little poem!

HI Team Honeycutt,

Thank you for the kind words, we don't really have a real winter, but a "wet and gray season" when we see the flowers we know that all that water has been good for something.....;)

I like that - spring as Mother Nature's fresh sheets.  I know it always makes everyone so hopeful and happy.

Linda, there is something optimistic about crocuses popping out of the snow in the spring.  My favourite seasons in order are: fall, spring, winter/summer

Hi Chris,

We have to admit that the only time of the year that we could enjoy more is winter (it is our gray season)
